Description
Lidia’s Place is an apartment in the village of Ponta do Sol and is ideal for three people.
The apartment is 130 m2 and comprises two bedrooms, a living room with dining table, kitchen, two bathrooms, a balcony with ocean view and a private parking.
It is equipped with refrigerator and freezer, washer, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi (500 Mbps), TV with international and children’s channels, and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The property is in a residential building in the village of Ponta do Sol, where there are many restaurants and cafes.
Ponta do Sol is located in the southwestern part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira.
A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.
Nearby you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other nautical activities.
Less than 200 m away there is a supermarket, a restaurant and a cafe, but within 400 m there are other restaurants, cafes and bars. The John dos Passos Cultural Center is 350 m away and Ponta do Sol beach is 450 m away.
The property has easy access to the major roads.

We are available to aid during your stay, to suggest places and activities you may like and to find solutions for your needs. We can suggest activities to discover the island off the usual tourist circuits.
A car is recommended, but there are bus stops and a taxi stand nearby.
The accommodation is in a residential area, but there is potential for noise from motorbikes and cars driving in a nearby street and barking dogs in the neighbourhood, mainly during the day if the windows are open.
Cleaning is done before guests check in and there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. An additional cleaning service may be requested if desired.
The accommodation is officially registered, meets the requirements to ensure safety and comfort, and has complaints book controlled by the competent authorities.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Guests must agree the check-in time at least two days before arrival and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
5. The number of guests must be informed in the reservation and can be changed up to the limit of the capacity of the accommodation with an additional price. From 2 guests, the price increases by up to 10% per guest.

Wifi only reaches the living room and kitchen (not the bedrooms) and it cuts in and out constantly. This made working really hard.
One medium sized fan and two very tiny, not strong fans for the whole apartment wasn't great. It was very hot. If you see more

If you leave the windows open at night, make sure to leave all the lights off or the bugs will be bad. One of the toilets broke while we were there. The owners came to fix it but they moved some of our personal things and were clearly in parts of the apartment other than the bathroom, which made me uncomfortable. If you don't take your clothes out of the washer as soon as it finishes, they will smell awful. |
