Description
Cantinho da Mikaela is an independent part of a house with rural surroundings, recommended for walkers, those involved in sporting activities and anyone who wants to stay away from urban centres.
The accommodation has a floor area of approximately 45 m2 and includes a bedroom with a double bed (1.60 m wide), a bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with shower, a small living room, and kitchen with dining table.
Outside, there is a spacious balcony with sun loungers and a table for outdoor dining.
The accommodation is equipped with a refrigerator, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, television with international channels and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The accommodation is located in a rural area 450 m from sea level and 6 km from the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafes.
About 500 m away there is a restaurant and café, and 2 km away there is a supermarket.
Access from the main road to the accommodation is via 80 meters of path with concrete flooring and a small staircase to the upper floor of the house.
Ponta do Sol is located in the southwest part of the island, which has the best climatic conditions in Madeira.
A few kilometres away, there are impressive cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers.
For hikers and mountain bikers, there are recommended walking routes and mountain bike trails just a few kilometres away, particularly in Paul da Serra.
REMARKS
We are available to help and suggest places and activities to discover the island outside the usual tourist circuits.
A car is recommended for this location. The accommodation does not have private parking, but free parking is possible on the side of the road.
Guests have access to the apartment on the top floor of the house and its balcony. The lower floor is reserved for the owner.
As it is a rural area, there is potential for noise caused by dogs and other domestic animals in neighbouring properties. There are also insects nearby that may be attracted to food scraps.
Cleaning is done before guests arrive and there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes changing bed linen and towels. If you wish, you can request an additional cleaning service.
The accommodation is officially registered, meets the requirements to guarantee safety and comfort, and has a complaints book controlled by local authorities.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key lockbox whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
5. The number of guests must be informed in the reservation and can be changed up to the limit of the capacity of the accommodation with an additional price. From 2 guests, the price increases by up to 10% per guest.
