Description
Freitas Paradise is an independent fraction of a house in a quiet and sunny area, ideal for two to four people.
The accommodation is approximately 80 m2 and consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds, a living room and kitchen with a dining table, and two bathrooms.
Outside there is a balcony and a terrace with barbecue, dining table, jacuzzi, solarium and parking area for guests.
The balcony has views of the sea and surrounding agricultural land and from there you can observe the first and last rays of the day's sun, on the rock of the most beautiful pier on the island, a phenomenon that gave rise to the name Ponta do Sol, given by the Portuguese discoverers.
It is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, washing machine, induction hob, oven, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi (200 Mbps), TV with international and children's channels, among other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The accommodation is in a rural area at 115 m from sea level and at 500 m from the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafes.
Ponta do Sol is located in the southwestern part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira.
A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.
Nearby you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other nautical activities.
The property has access to the main roads.
REMARKS
We are available to aid and suggest places and activities to discover the island off the usual tourist circuits.
A car is recommended for this location.
Free car park is available in the property.
There is a bus stop around 20 m away.
The property's entrance is shared with the owner's main house, but the accommodation is independent. The balcony, terrace and jacuzzi are for the exclusive use of guests.
We ask that all guests keep food well-packed, so as to limit attracting insects given the island climate.
Cleaning is done before guests check in and there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. Additional cleaning may be requested.
Per local law, our accommodation is officially registered, meets the requirements to ensure safety and comfort, and has complaints book controlled by local authorities.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key lockbox whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
5. The number of guests must be informed in the reservation and can be changed up to the limit of the capacity of the accommodation with an additional price. From 2 guests, the price increases by up to 10% per guest.

We rented this lovely apartment for 3 weeks in December.
It's been set up fantastically well. The owner has thought of everything from the barbecue, the jacuzzi, the kitchen equipment and smart TV to little things like a lighter, safe boxes and asee more
We rented this lovely apartment for 3 weeks in December.
It's been set up fantastically well. The owner has thought of everything from the barbecue, the jacuzzi, the kitchen equipment and smart TV to little things like a lighter, safe boxes and adapter plugs of which there were many. We couldn't think of anything the flat didn't have! I'd say the best thing of many good things about the apartment is the balcony which overlooks the town. We ate there most of the time during our stay or just sat and read our books on there. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom, especially the walk-in shower was brand new and superb. Luz and Sidonia who work for AHIM could not have been more helpful. Both speak fluent English and were extremely keen to make sure we were happy - and we were! The town is less 500m from the apartment and most of that is steeply downhill but, with frequent stops on the way back up, it's easily walkable on the well-lit path (off the road. We are a couple in their 60s). This isn't a place to stay if you want to go walking from the apartment because there's no pavement around and there are many hills - that's Madeira though, of course. But, as a place to work whilst in the sun or as a place to just crash out and relax it's really perfect. |
