LOCATION
The apartment is near the city centre, about 10 to 15 minutes’ walk from the Old City Zone (historic centre) and the seaside.
Nearby there are cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, grocery stores, wine cellars, shops, museums, pharmacies and clinics.
Although a car is not necessary, there are two public car parks 300 m from the building. Free parking possible at night and weekends in nearby streets.
The Aerobus stop is at 650 m. There are bus stops within walking distance and by car there is easy access to Funchal's main roads and to the highway to discover the island.
REMARKS
Cleaning is done before check-in and there is weekly cleaning, which includes a change of bed linen and towels.
There is a street passing in front of the building where there is potential noise from traffic, mainly during the day and if windows are open.
Due to the island's climate, insects can occur unexpectedly. To avoid attracting insects, it is important to clean up leftover food and keep food well packaged.
People who are sensitive to mosquito bites are advised to use insect repellent when travelling around the island.
