The Place by Nicolene is a modern apartment for families or groups of up to six, in Funchal's amphitheatre — it has a balcony with views of the mountains, the city and the sea, and the building offers a garden, a pool with a sun deck and private parking.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a residential building and has private parking in the basement, a garden area and a swimming pool with a sun deck.
The apartment has an area of 121 m² and comprises two bedrooms, each with a queen-size double bed (160 × 200 cm), one bedroom with two single beds (90 × 200 cm), a living room with a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and a spacious balcony with views of the mountains, city, and sea.
The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi (500 Mbps), TV with international channels, and other amenities to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay.

📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD
The apartment is located in the Funchal amphitheatre close to the Barreiros Stadium.
350 m from the building there is a café, a small supermarket, a pharmacy and a restaurant.
It is 950 m from the Continente supermarket, 2.1 km from Complexo Balnear do Lido, 2.4 km from Marina do Funchal and 3 km from Mercado dos Lavradores.
There are bus stops next to the building and there is easy access by car to Funchal's main roads and the highway to discover the island.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE
The pool is not heated, but it is open all year round and can be used if the weather permits, unless temporary maintenance work is underway.
The apartment is in a high-density residential area with shops and services, where there may be traffic noise, mainly during the day and if the windows are open.
Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.
We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.
For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

Funchal Panoramic View is a spacious apartment in the centre of Funchal, for families or groups of up to six — it has a rooftop terrace with views over the city and the ocean, in a residential area a few minutes' walk from the Old Town and the Marina.
The apartment has a total area of 187 m², private parking and a roof terrace with superb views over the city and the ocean.
The apartment comprises three bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a king-size double bed (180 × 200 cm), a bedroom with two single beds that can be converted into a double bed and a further bedroom with two single beds. There is also a spacious living room with sofas and a dining table, a kitchen, a laundry room, three full bathrooms and a guest toilet.
The apartment is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, induction hob, oven, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, ceiling fans in the bedrooms, Wi-Fi (1 Gbps), smart TV with international channels and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxing stay.

📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD
The apartment is in a residential area, with little traffic at night, near the main centre of attraction, where you can reach most daily necessities and services within walking distance.
The accommodation is located 5 minutes' walk from Town Hall Square and 10 to 15 minutes from the Old City Zone (historic centre) and Funchal Marina. On the ground floor of the building, there is a small cafe with locally made bakeries and pastries, they also sell excellent warm bread. Nearby there are cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, grocery stores, greengrocers, wine cellars, shops, museums, pharmacies, clinics and a lot more.
The property has easy pedestrian access to various centres of attraction in the city of Funchal. The area is well served by public transport, with a stop at 3 minutes' walk. By car, it has easy access to the major roads of Funchal and the highway.

There is city traffic noise during the day; at night it is reduced and intermittent, but may disturb guests who are more sensitive to noise.
