Aunt Celeste's House III is an independent fraction on the ground floor of a traditional house, integrated in a rural area next to the sea, and is ideal for two people.
The house was recently completely renovated and divided into three accommodations, which share the swimming pool and sun terrace.
This accommodation is approximately 20 m2 and consists of a sleeping area with a double bed (1.6x2.0 m), a living area with kitchen and dining table, a bathroom with shower, as well as a terrace with a table and chairs. The accommodation also has a private parking space on the property.
There is a washing machine and a tumble dryer in a shared space for the three accommodations.
It is equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, ceramic hob, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi (500 Mbps), TV with international channels, and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The property is located in the locality of Lugar de Baixo, which is the place with the best climatic conditions on the island of Madeira.
It is situated in a rural area approximately 100 m from the sea. There are restaurants and cafés, as well as the Banana Museum and a pebble beach approximately 400 m away, or about 7 minutes on foot.
Approximately 1 km away is the centre of the village of Ponta do Sol, where there are restaurants, cafés and a beach.
Levada do Moinho and Levada Nova, which are recommended walking routes with fabulous landscapes, are approximately 4 km away.
A few kilometres away, there are impressive cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.
In the vicinity it is possible to practise various outdoor activities, such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other water sports.
The property has access to the main road networks.
NOTES
A car is recommended for this location and there is free parking on the property.
Due to the climate, there are also insects and lizards in the rural surroundings, which may be attracted by food scraps. For those who are not comfortable with the presence of insects and lizards, we do not recommend accommodation in a rural area.
Cleaning is carried out before guests arrive and there is weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes changing bed linen and towels.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties and behaviours that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not permitted, particularly between 22:00 and 08:00 when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available through a key safe whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For in-person check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time may be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be asked to present an identification document at the time of arrival and to provide missing identification data to comply with legal requirements.
5. Any damage, incidents or cleaning failures must be reported as soon as they are detected so they can be verified and addressed promptly during the stay. Problems reported late merely for the purpose of obtaining a refund will not be considered.
6. Guests must inform about allergies, constraints or special needs before or shortly after booking to verify compliance and appropriate measures to be taken.
