Description
Valley Canhas is a small house with peaceful rural surroundings, recommended for hikers, sports enthusiasts and anyone who wants to stay away from urban centres.
The accommodation has a floor area of approximately 68 m2. The lower floor has air conditioning and includes a sleeping area with a double bed (1.60 m wide), a living area, a kitchen with a dining table, a bathroom with shower and a laundry room. In the attic there is a small children's room and a work area.
Outside, there is a spacious terrace with views of the sea and agricultural land, where there is a jacuzzi, sun loungers and chairs with a table to enjoy breakfast or tea outdoors, the perfect setting for a unique experience with all the comfort and surrounded by nature.
The accommodation is equipped with a refrigerator, washing machine, tumble dryer, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, television with international channels and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The accommodation is located in a rural area 450 m from sea level and 6 km from the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafes.
About 850 m away there is a restaurant and café, and 1.2 km away there is a supermarket.
Access from the main road to the accommodation is via a 230 meter path with concrete flooring and a staircase leading to the entrance of the house.
Ponta do Sol is located in the southwest part of the island, which has the best climatic conditions in Madeira.
A few kilometres away, there are impressive cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers.
For hikers and mountain bikers, there are recommended walking routes and mountain bike trails just a few kilometres away, particularly in Paul da Serra.
REMARKS
A car is recommended for this location. It is possible to access the house by car and there is a private parking space, but the access is difficult and requires the ability to drive on narrow and steep roads.
As it is a rural area, there is potential for noise caused by dogs and other domestic animals in neighbouring properties. There are also insects nearby that may be attracted to food scraps.
Cleaning is done before guests arrive and there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes changing bed linen and towels. If you wish, you can request an additional cleaning service.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key lockbox whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
