Description
Casa do Valentim is a spacious house integrated in a rural area and is ideal for families and groups of up to six people.
The property includes the house with a spacious terrace, balcony, jacuzzi, barbecue with al fresco dining area, and parking area.
The house is 192 m2 and comprises three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining area, work room and a kitchen.
Is well equipped with dishwasher, washer, refrigerator, cooker, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international and children’s channels, and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The house is in a rural area at 450 m from sea level and at 6 km from the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafes.
At about 200 m there is a supermarket and at 100 m there is a small restaurant and cafe.
Ponta do Sol is located in the southwestern part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira.
A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.
Nearby you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other nautical activities.
The property has access to the main roads.
REMARKS
We are available to aid and suggest places and activities to discover the island off the usual tourist circuits.
A car is recommended, but there are bus stops nearby.
Please note that this house is near a main road, and as such there may be traffic noise, which is attenuated by closing the windows.
We ask that all guests keep food well-packed, so as to limit attracting insects given the island climate.
Cleaning is done before guests check in and there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. Additional cleaning may be requested.
Per local law, our accommodation is officially registered, meets the requirements to ensure safety and comfort, and has a complaints book controlled by local authorities.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key lockbox whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
5. The number of guests must be informed in the reservation and can be changed up to the limit of the capacity of the accommodation with an additional price. From 2 guests, the price increases by up to 10% per guest.

The house is very spaciuos and very well equipped. There is a covered and beautiful courtyard where one can sit protected from the wind to eat. Unfortunately, the house is located on a heavily trafficked road, which is quite loud because everyone spesee more
The house is very spaciuos and very well equipped. There is a covered and beautiful courtyard where one can sit protected from the wind to eat. Unfortunately, the house is located on a heavily trafficked road, which is quite loud because everyone speeds through there. It is located quite high up, which means there is a curvy drive up and down each time, but it is not very touristy there and one has a great view of the Atlantic. The care was exceptionally good and friendly, we didn't miss anything.
