Description
Ocean View Cottage is a small, recently renovated cottage that is recommended for hikers, mountain bikers, surfers and those who want to get away from urban centres.
The house has a floor area of around 60 m2 on two floors. On the upper floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a common area with two single beds, which can accommodate up to 4 people. On the lower floor, there is a living room with a dining table, a kitchen and a bathroom.
Outside, there is a spacious yard with a barbecue and a parking area. The backyard overlooks the sea and offers a privileged spot for watching the sunset.
The house is equipped with a fridge, washing machine, hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi (with 4G -50 Mbps router), TV with international channels and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxing stay.
LOCATION
The house is located in a small remote village with rural surroundings.
The Precipicio restaurant is 1.2 kilometres away, and Paul do Mar, 5 kilometres away, has a wide range of restaurants, cafés and bars.
A few kilometres away, there are impressive cliffs, mountains and laurel forest for nature lovers.
For hikers and mountain bikers, there are recommended walking routes and mountain bike trails just a few kilometres away, particularly in Paul da Serra. For surfers, Paul do Mar is just 5 kilometres away.
REMARKS
We are available to aid and suggest places and activities to discover the island off the usual tourist circuits.
A car is recommended to this location.
Free car park is available in the property or on the street.
Cleaning is done before guests check in and then there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. To increase the frequency, an additional cleaning service must be requested.
As this is a rural area, there is potential for noise from dogs and other domestic animals on neighbouring properties.
Due to the climate, there are also insects and lizards in the rural area, which may be attracted to food scraps. For those who are uncomfortable with the presence of insects and lizards, we do not recommend staying in a rural area.
The accommodation is officially registered, meets the requirements to ensure safety and comfort, and has a complaint book controlled by local authorities.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key lockbox whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
5. The number of guests must be informed in the reservation and can be changed up to the limit of the capacity of the accommodation with an additional price. From 2 guests, the price increases by up to 10% per guest.
